I was asked to review some products for Born Pretty Store and was happy that they let me choose the items I wanted to review. So here are two of the items I picked; Gradient Sponges (item 1203) and pretty candy coloured studs (item 11328). They were also kind enough to give me a discount code for you all to use if you purchase anything from them, and they sell loads of things not just nail art bits 🙂 Be sure to use code FVJ61 for 10% off your entire order.
Firstly can I say I have seen a few bad reviews for the Born Pretty Store, but I have ordered and reviewed for them previously and have had no issues with their shipping or delivery, and have always found them to have great customer service.
So first up are the Gradient sponges. Seen below.
Now for those of you familiar with doing gradient nails, you know how important it is to have a good sponge….Well my verdict is these are absolutely great. I have used them a couple of times now and they give a great finish without any of the sponge disintegrating to mess up your mani, which has happened to me previously. They come in a pack of three, and you can get a good few manis out of them. Once you have used all sides you can just rip pieces off for techniques such as sponging and galaxy manis 🙂 They are really cheap too only $0.59 so that’s what about 40 pence. You can buy them directly by clicking here. Don’t forget to use discount code FVJ61 to get 10% off your order.
So next up are some candy coloured studs in colour combination #2. They looked absolutely gorgeous on their site so I couldn’t resist. They come in 3 other colour combinations.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that the studs were nice and small in size so perfect for nail art. They come in 6 different colours and 2 designs, dots and leaves. Below you can see a close up of the studs and colours. They can be purchased by clicking here. They are $4.59, approx £2.74 for 300 studs which is pretty good value, they are good quality and consistent in size. And don’t forget to use code FVJ61 for 10% off your order.
I used these pretty studs and gradient sponges for the mani below.
