Hi everybody, sorry it has been a while since my last blog post but I am back with a review for the Bee Bar lotion which was sent to me by All that Jazz. I was lucky enough to have a few companies contact me regarding products good for eczema on the hands after my appeal for help on instagram.
After using steroids for a while and the agitation not getting any better I was ready to try anything and particularly interested in natural products. I often get eczema at change of season and when spring had sprung so had the eczema on my hands. Being a nail blogger this can be particularly annoying and also stops me from doing as much as I usually would.
So lets talk a little about the Bee Bar Lotion.
It comes in 2 sizes a 2oz(57g) for £14.99 or a 0.6oz (17g) for £7.99 and seven different scents described below by all that Jazz:
Citrus – Delightfully refreshing
Hawaiian – Like a tropical beach
Lavender – Tranquil and relaxing
Natural – Fragrance of beeswax & sweet almond oil
Sweet Honey – A caress of sweet pleasure
Spring Meadow – Fresh and Sunny
Vanilla – Warm and comforting
As you can see I had the Natural fragrance and think for people with sensitive skin it is probably best to try un-scented items as fragrance can further agitate the skin. I would describe the Natural scent as a honey musk scent. It may not be for everyone but I loved it.
So here is a look inside the tin. I love the packaging and really think it makes the difference between me liking and loving a product. When I opened the tin I was greeted with a lovely musky honey scent and this cute packaging. The ingredients of the Bee Bar is quite simple it contains: Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil golden, Beeswax, Lanolin, Cocoa Butter, Soy-based (non GMO) Vitamin E. So it is packed full of goodness for dry skin.
Doesn’t it look lovely? I started to use it as soon as I received it and was extremely happy with the short-term results. It instantly made my hands feel more comfortable. It does coat the skin and that may not be something all people will like, but I knew it was protecting my skin giving it a feeling of having a waterproof barrier.
After a week of using the Bee Bar Lotion my skin was feeling a lot better and the dry scaliness was reducing. After 2 weeks the Skin was starting to re-generate back to its original state.
So as you can see the Bee Bar Lotion really did work for me. I have nearly run out of it and will be purchasing some very soon. My daughters also love it and it is a great way for me to get them to moisturise those dry bits.
Thanks for reading, please do let me know if you try this product and how it works for you xxx
