Cassella Nail Polish – Review & Nail Art

Hi everybody, sorry for the break from my last post!! I find it hard to keep up with all the different mediums I have for sharing things…YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook…gosh I find it hard to keep up at times.

Anyway enough about life 🙂 Today I have a review of a new Indie Polish brand which hand blended in the UK called Cassella.  Their polishes are 5 free and cruelty free too, which is always a big +.

I was kindly sent the creme polish called ‘Candy Flossin’ and their Matte Top coat.

These bottles really remind me of one of my fave Indie Lacquer brands ever ‘The Lacquer Lab’ which unfortunately is not trading anymore :(.  What I really like about the bottles is that the square lid pulls off (like the dior and change polish lids do), this makes it easy to paint your nails.

Here is a swatch of this pretty pastel pink, it has a nice application and this is three thin coats with top coat.  I really like the creme formula and think if my nails where shorter it could be a 2 coat polish.

This colour really made me feel like spring, and as it has been a lovely sunny day I thought I would create a floral design over this lovely pastel pink. I will post a tutorial on my Youtube channel for this some time soon.

As you can see I used the matte top coat and was very impressed.  I have always used Essie ‘Matte about you’, but I think I just have found my new fave Matte Top coat, it is pretty fast drying too.

So at £7 per bottle I am quite impressed by this new polish brand on the block and I am looking forward to seeing more collections from them. Cassella polishes can be purchased  through their online store http://www.cassella.co.uk.

Thanks for reading xxx
