MeeBox review

Hi all today I have a review of a nail box that is new to me. There seem to be more and more subscription and nail box services appearing and it was nice to be sent one for review from the team at MeeBox.

Ok so admittedly this box is old and I was sent it last year, however as you are all aware due to personal circumstances I took some time out from blogging so the review was delayed.  I want to again apologise to and thank all the companies who have still continued to support me and be patient while I got back on track.

Ok lets get to business.  The box itself comes well packaged and looks pretty much like other beauty subscription boxes with the title of the company on the outside of the box.

The box I received had a Taupe coloured theme.  In the box were 3 full sized polishes in Taupe colours, Dr. Remedy base coat treatment and Cuccio quick dry drops.  There are 2 different subscriptions you can have 1. £20 per month 2. A three month subscription for £18 per month.  This a good value considering all the items in the box I got were full size and all the boxes are themed.

MeeBox Swatches

MeeBox Swatches

Above you can see the three colours swatched on the swatch sticks provided with the MeeBox. From left to right NuBar – Spark Prizm, this is a Taupe with a hint of rose gold. The Holo is very subtle but it is a lovely colour, it did need 3/4 coats for full opacity so it is a great topper. NCLA Nudes – Volume V, this is a lovely greige nude colour and was perfect in two coats, possibly one if you have short nails. Colour Club – Positively Posh, is another creme colour which was perfect in two coats, I’m not a big fan of dark brown colours so this was my least favourite of the three polishes.

I used the NCLA and Nubar polishes in the above shot.  I really liked the finish, it is very work appropriate. I wore it all week as I had a busy work week, so you can see a little bit of tip wear, as I took the picture three days after painting my nails.

I also did some nail art over this base which can be seen below.

I used the Bundle Monster Stamping plate collaboration plate with Nailstamp4fun.  I absolutely love this plate, it is beautiful.  I will do a full review on the plates I was sent recently from Bundle Monster soon, they are all from their blogger collaboration plates 🙂

Overall I think the MeeBox is great value for money, and they are now taking subscriptions for their February box so be quick before it is snapped up.

Thanks for reading xxx
