White Ribbon nails & Mitty brushes review

Hi everybody, today I am back with some nails to raise awareness about domestic violence against women. I was kindly asked to take part in this lovely initiative by Mitty from @mitty_burns.

Latest figures show that approx 1 in 3 women worldwide have been affected by domestic violence in their lifetime and globally 38% of murders against women are as a result of domestic violence.  Mitty will be donating 20% of all sales in the month of May to the White Ribbon foundation which is a lovely gesture.

Mitty asked those involved to create white ribbon nails and this was definitely something I was keen to be involved in.  Having been affected by violence myself in a past relationship I think it was very important for me to take part. Please click here to see a video with all those who took part.

I created some mini white ribbon rose nails, if you have been following me for a while you know I love creating this type of mani.  I used Mitty brushes for this design and found them to be great quality.

The brushes come in a lovely faux leather bag with Mitty printed on the front.  The set includes five brushes and one dotting tool.

The brushes are made from Kolinsky hair and really are fab quality.

I decided to add a matte top coat by Casella which I think gives a lovely finish to the mani.

  1. love your nails. these brushes look super cute but do you know if they are cruelty free?
    As kolinsky is sable hair.

    1. They are Kolinsky hair hun so not synthetic. You would have to contact the supplier to find out about the use of animal hair and cruelty free products.
