Hi everybody, I am back today with my first Autumn collection from at Leighton Denny Nails. I was lucky enough to be sent the new Heritage collection as well as a lovely Barbour scarf, which will be coming in handy soon as the weather has certainly got an Autumn feel to it now.
This post is all of the colours swatched, I did do nail art with all the colours but the post would have been too long so I will be posting those over the next couple of days.
The collection consists of 6 polishes as can be seen below.
Colours from left to right are Take Your Wellies, Tea for Two, Winter Garden, Pretty In Plaid, Rural Sunset and Country Club.
When I first received this collection I was impressed with the beautifully curated colours, there is a colour for everyone. Sometimes I find that Autumn collections can be full of dark colours but this one has a nice mix of colours.
Ok so lets start with ‘Take Your Wellies’.
Ok so when I first saw this colour I was interested to see how it would apply on the nails as I am not a big fan of brown polish. I was however presently surprised as this polish is a brown/grey colour and is very different to any other colour in my collection, so I was happy to add it to the polish family.
The polish applied well in two coats and was super shiny.
Ok next in line is ‘Tea for Two’.
This gorgeous pink toned nude polish is perfect for every skin tone. I had to apply three coats as my nails are long, but I am sure it would be perfect in two coats for those with shorter nails. It is the perfect pink nude polish and again it was super shiny.
Ok next up is ‘Winter Garden’
This gorgeous raspberry pink is perfect for Autumn and again would suit all skin tones. I really love it when a collection suits everyone, because there are many that don’t, so bravo Leighton Denny. This is two coats with top coat.
Next up is ‘Pretty In Plaid’.
So this is a beautiful deep red with scattered glitters throughout. It almost has a glass like finish to it which I loved, and it has beautiful depth with keeps you staring at your nails for ages. This is three coats with top coat as it has quite a sheer formula, so I think it would also make a great colour changing topper.
I took a few extra shots of this beauty.
Next up is ‘Rural Sunset’.
Gahhh this colour is just beautiful. It reminds me of the soft morning light on a winters day, just beautiful and I will be wearing this one all year round. This is two coats plus top coat. This is one of my fave colours from the collection.
Last but not least is ‘Country Club’.
Well it’s my fave colour making an appearance. This Blue is stunning and applied perfectly in two coats. This Navy is such a perfect blue that it will be added to my blue polish collection with pride.
So there you have it, the absolutely stunning Heritage collection from Leighton Denny. This is my first time swatching a whole Leighton Denny collection and I was extremely impressed with the quality of all the polishes and the beautiful colour selection.
So which one is your fave??
Thanks for reading, I will be back soon with nail art for this collection xxx
