Leighton Denny Heritage Collection – Nail Art

Hi everybody,  I am back today with nail art using all the gorgeous polishes from the Heritage collection by Leighton Denny.  This is another picture heavy blog post, and my swatches can be found here.

Let me just start by saying I think this is a fab collection and perfect for nail art, the colours in the collection compliment each other extremely well.  Ok so lets get started.

Classy Crystal Nail At using ‘Pretty in ‘Plaid’

With this gorgeous glass like shade I kept it simple and just added some Kiss Nail Crystal Decals which are all pre stuck into shapes and you just have to apply them to your nails.  A very simple way to get pretty nail art, no need for nail glue :).

Tape and Flakie mani using ‘Country Club’ as base colour

To this gorgeous blue base I added Aurora Nail Art striping tape from Sonailicious Boutique and I used the beautiful Shattered Waters powder flakes from Mitty.

I decided to create some stamped nails with Bundle Monster Polynesia Flower Buffet BM-XL109 Plate & White Knight stamping polish from MoYou London.

It’s been a while since I did a taped mani like this, and I think I need some more practise as the lines are not as clean as I’d like but I still like the design.

I was missing a bit of Matte in my life :).  So decided to do a matte design.  I used my fave nail art stickers from Sonailicious Boutique from the mediterranean summer collection and I think the matte finish gives a really classy effect.

Ahhh these shattered powders from Mitty are fantastic, and you can apply them on top of normal polish too which is fab.  I love the effect the gorgeous Shattered Butterflies gives on top of this pretty peach colour.  The powders are really easy to work with as well.  As you can see I loved the look of this and that’s why I took so many shots.

For this final design I created some super simple dry brush nails using four of the six polishes from the Heritage collection. I also added some gold flakes I had left over from previous nail art. I really enjoyed creating nail art with this collection and am sure I will be using these gorgeous polishes to create more nail art soon.

The Leighton Denny Heritage collection can be purchased direct from their website.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed seeing the nail art I created xxx
