Hi everybody, I am back with my first post for 2018 and it was a manic finish to 2017 with major house work completing just before christmas.  Anyway I am glad to be back and missed painting my nails.

So my first post for 2018 is featuring polishes from a brand I have worked with before called Candy Coat.  You can find my previous review here of their Gel polishes.

The polishes I am reviewing today are their normal polishes, which for some reason I could not find on their site now, this may be due to selling out but worth keeping an eye on their site to see if there are any that catch your eye from this post.

Candy Cost polishes

I was sent 12 polishes and some gorgeous loose glitter.  They also sent these super cute rings which you can paint the colour onto to swatch it.  My daughter Aanya could not resist trying them all on as you can see below.

Candy Coat polish rings

Such a cute way to swatch, and my daughter absolutely loved the idea of butterfly rings.

Ok so I did not swatch all the colours but I did swatch a couple and create some nail art with others.

Candy coat ‘Blue Moon’

This gorgeous minty blue is called ‘Blue Moon’. it is quite a sheer application and I needed 3 coats for full coverage.  It applied evenly and I really like the shine of the polish.  There is no need to cure these polishes so are perfect for nail artists who change their nails regularly.

I had to take a picture of the super cute swatch rings that I was sent with the package.

Candy Coat ‘Cupcake’

This stunning colour is called ‘Cupcake’ it is definitely a colour I would use regularly and is so pretty. It is a muted rose pink and I love it.  This is 3 coats with top coat.

I created some nail art with other polishes from the collection below.

The base polish for this design is so pretty and really does remind me of summer, which is a long way off at the moment.  I miss the sun.

My next mani was done using a number of different colours from the ones I was sent and I really enjoyed creating it using the Mitty ‘Minty 0’ brush, which is a fave of mine.

I really enjoyed using these polishes and still love to use my candy coat gels.  They have a number of different buying options available on the site with pick and mix boxes as well as subscription boxes.  All the different options can be found on their website.

I hope you enjoyed my first post of 2018, and there will be many more to come.  Happy New Year xxx
