Wikkid Polish – Swatches & Nail Art

Press Sample

Hi everybody, today I am back with a new to me indie brand from the UK, Wikkid Polish.

I was sent 4 polishes with varying finishes.  This is a picture heavy blog post :).

Wikkid Polish

From Left to right we have Aurora, Dragon Fruit, Crushed Violet & Ice Ice Baby.

Ok so we are going to go backwards with these swatches starting with Ice Ice baby.

Ice Ice Baby

This silvery pale blue has a gorgeously intense linear holo, this is definitely one for the holo fans.  It was like having a full blown rainbow on my nails.  I applied two coats with top coat.

Next up we have Crushed Violet.

Crushed Violet

This beautiful purple polish is packed full of holo flakies and my is it a stunner.  I applied 3 coats and added a couple of layers of top coat to smooth down the flakies.

Next up is a thermal called Dragon Fruit.

Dragon Fruit
This beautiful thermal is bright fuschia pink when cold and almost white when hot. Oh and it doesn’t stop there, it has a stunning shimmer and beautiful green flakies running throughout the polish. Get ready for all the photos of this one 🙂

This polish is a stunner and I love thermal polishes, it transitions beautifully and I did not apply any top coat to this one, as I wanted to see the full beauty of it, it dries to a satin finish without top coat and looks divine.

Ok so last but certainly not least is Aurora.

Oh my oh my you are in for a true treat with this scattered holo glitter polish which shifts from green, to blue, to purple to pink and it has gold sparkles as well.  What more could you want from a glitter polish.  This one is absolutely beautiful and I was looking at my nails all day just moving them around to see all the different colours in action lol.

I was extremely impressed at the beauty of the polishes from Wikkid polish and was wondering where I had been that I had not already tried this amazing indie brand.  I am so happy to have been asked to swatch and create some nail art for the brand and I am looking forward to expanding my collection of Wikkid polishes.

The formulas of all the polishes are amazing, some needed three coats for full coverage, and the glitter polishes need a couple fo thick coats of top coat to smooth them out but they are all soooooooooo beautiful and with over 90 shades and finishes to choose from they have something for everyone.

Some of the items I have featured are currently sold out but will be restocked on the 15th of April, so be sure to follow Wikkid polish on insta for more updates of re-stocks and new releases.  I obviously had to create some nail art with these, you can see the designs below.

Super simple nail art using some nail stickers I have had laying around for ages.  And some galaxy nail art using the obvious choice Aurora as my base.

All polishes can be purchased directly from the Wikkid polish website and prices range from £6.50-£8, which is fab for a hand made indie polish.  They also ship to the EU and can be purchased from Beautometry in the USA.
