So most of you would have seen the mini rose mani I posted on Instagram, well below are some steps on how to recreate this look.
Polishes used (from left to right):
Ciate; Sugar Plum, Collection; Go Retro, Nails inc; Belgrave Place, Avon; Green Goddess, Essie; Navigate Her and Seche Vite Top Coat.
I used a small dotting tool and a brush that I have cut down so I can paint detailed designs.
Paint your base colour and let it dry for about 10 mins. I used 3 coats of Ciate Sugar Plum as the base. Take the dotting tool and make small irregular dots with the 2 colours chosen for the roses.
Use a fine brush to paint a small dot in the centre of the larger dot. Paint a couple of curved lines around the centre dot.
Using the fine brush paint small leaves onto the sides of the Roses.
Using the fine brush add some lines to the leaves with a lighter green giving the leaves some highlights.
Add Top coat and voila, mini roses 🙂
Wow it looks so simple! Now I need to go and find some brushes for that 🙂
I will be posting a blog post about my equipment and where I get it from in the next few days xx
