Bettie Pain Polish Review – Part 2

Press Sample

So here are the last 3 polishes I was sent for review by Bettie Pain Polish, a new indie nail lacquer from Australia. The Dark Forest Collection launches on the 16th of August.

This collection was so refreshing for me to try after having been painting so many bright summery colours on my nails.

The 4th polish I swatched was called ‘Scattered Floor’ Its a brown holo like base with beautiful green and gold glitters, again as the rest of the polishes it is quite sheer. And the formula has already changed since we tried the first batch, so it will be more opaque now.

Now I’m really not a fan of brown polish, but this one is quite magical and I will definitely be wearing it again.  I added some gold flakes to the accent nail and have a video on my instagram to show you how 🙂

The 5th polish up for swatching was a lovely Blurple base with stunning irregular silver and purple glitters.  I just love this polish it looks so shiny with top coat and almost like glass.

This polish is a bit of a colour shifter and looks more purple in outdoor lighting as can be seen below.  I didn’t add too much to this mani as the polish is so stunning.

Ok so I think I most definitely saved the best for last.  As soon as I saw this polish in the collection I knew I was going to love it.  It is called ‘Fruit of the Dragon’ and certainly does remind me of Dragon Fruit and looks good enough to eat.

So I really didn’t know what to add to this polish and really didn’t want to add much, so I just did an accent nail with my mo-you stamping plates.

So there you have it.  I can say I really enjoyed swatching these polishes and am looking forward to what Bettie Pain Polish as in store for us in the future.
