I am always happy to try out new polish collections and NB Lacquer has become one of my faves, after having swatched for them a few times now.
The Autumn/Winter collection consists of four polishes which can be seen in their new bottles below. The bottles have been changed since the last collection I swatched and are very art deco in style.
I did swatches for each polish for both indoor and outdoor lighting. From this collection I think Royalty is my fave, why??? Well Blue is my fave colour, so it wasn’t hard for it to end up as my fave.
‘Vintage Rose’
Vintage rose is a lovely pink toned nude that I think would suit many different skin tones. This is 2 coats with top coat. The formula was a little thick on this one, maybe it was just my bottle. But it did make it a little hard to apply as compared with the other polishes in the collection. Despite the consistency with a good layer of Seche Vite it looked fine.
‘Grey Matter’
This is a lovely grey with small subtle glitter particles (which my camera had a hard time picking up) and would work well as the base for any nail art design. It’s been a while since I used Grey on my nails so it was nice to have this as one of the four polishes. This is two coats with top coat.
‘Mouse in D House’
Well it’s obvious to see why this has been given the name it has. This is a lovely red jelly polish with iridescent glitters and large Mickey Mouse ear glitters. I had to dig around a bit to get the Mickey glitters out of the polish, which means there probably need to be more in there 🙂 But this is a lovely red jelly polish and I would probably wear it without the Mickey glitters. This is three coats with top coat.
‘Royalty’
Last but certainly not least is this beauty of a polish called ‘Royalty’. It is a gorgeous ink blue colour and this is just one coat with top coat. Yes this is a one coater, which is always rare in polishes and well worth the small price tag it comes with (£3.15). It is just beautiful, however I am a bit bias as my fave colour is Blue 🙂
Overall this is a nice Autumn/Winter Collection and it is available to purchase now from NB Lacquer and won’t break the bank 🙂
