Ok back to business. I’ve been ill for just over a week now with Flu and finally felt like I had the energy to edit and write this post, having taken the picture the day before I fell ill.
The OPI Hawaii collection surprised me with how varied it was, and I guarantee there is a colour in this collection for everybody.
OPI Suzi Shops & Island Hops Swatch
So This very pretty pastel/bubble gum pink called ‘Suzi Shops & Island Hops’ which looks good enough to eat. It was a 3 coater polish, but that may have been due to my nails being so long at the moment.
OPI That’s Hula-rious! Swatch
This beautiful mint/pastel green is called ‘That’s Hula-rious!’. It is such a perfect mint green and was a 2 coater, which is great for any pastel colour. I’m not big fan of pastels but the ones in this collection are lovely.
OPI Do You Take Lei Away? Swatch
This is a lovely nude called ‘Do You Take Lei Away?’ it was a 2 coater which is fab, and a great nude which would probably suit most skin tones.
OPI Is Mai Tai Crooked? Swatch
I am so in love with the pastel orange colour called ‘Is Mai Tai Crooked?’. It is just so perfect for summer. It was a 3 coater, but again it may be ok in 2 for people with shorter nails.
OPI Hello Hawaii Ya? Swatch
This lovely muted purple is called ‘Hello Hawaii Ya?’. It’s a shade of purple that I haven’t got in my collection so am very happy for the addition. It was almost a one coater polish, which was fabulous and am sure if you have shorter nails it would be perfect in one coat.
Aloha from OPI Swatch
Gahhhhh isn’t this such a lovely orangey red called ‘Aloha from OPI’ Just perfect for summer, even though it was a three coater I didn’t mind as it was so pretty.
OPI Just Lanai-ing Around Swatch
This is probably one of my fave colours from the collection and is just such a perfect pinky mauve colour which is ideal for any season. This beauty is called ‘Just Lanai-ing Around’ I was in love as soon as I applied it and it was a two coater.
OPI Pineapples Have Peelings too! Swatch
Hmmmmm now on to my least fave from the collection. This Yellow gold toned multi coloured glitter polish is called ‘Pineapples Have Peelings Too!’ And I am not a big fan tbh but it would probably make an interesting back drop for some nail art. It was also a two coater as most of the polishes in this collection.
OPI My Gecko Does Tricks Swatch
I’m not usually a fan of green polish which is this bright, but this lovely shimmer lizard green colour is just sublime, and perfect for summer. This polish is called ‘My Gecko Does Tricks’ and is beautiful bold colour. This was a three coater polish.
OPI Go with the Lava Flow Swatch
This beautiful Coral red with a hint of gold shimmer called ‘Go with the Lava Flow’ is just stunning and my camera found it hard to pick up its beauty fully. This was two coats and was another fave of mine from the collection. It applied perfectly in two coats.
OPI Lost My Bikini in Molokini Swatch
So the last two colours are also some of my faves from the collection and this Purple called ‘Lost my Bikini in Molokini’ is just gorgeous, it is a little duller in person (my camera was capturing a bit brighter than usual). It is another possible one coater polish.
OPI This Color’s Making Waves Swatch
Last but certainly not least is this stunning Duo Chrome metallic glitter polish called ‘This Color’s Making Waves’. This is two coats and almost reminds me off Chanel Azure. I took a few more shots of this one so you could see how it looks in different lighting.
